Dear Parishioners,


I greet you in the precious name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

St. Mark's Cathedral has a glorious 200 years history behind it. The Cathedral began as a Garrison Chapel for the British army in 1808 and then enlarged as a Church in 1901, rebuilt after the fire destroyed the inside of the Church in 1927 as an Anglican Church, and became a Cathedral for Church of South India, Mysore Diocese in 1947.


The St. Mark's Cathedral is a worshiping community; ministering through its mission to the needy people in Karnataka and other states of India and Sri Lanka.


Every Sunday, the Church gathers for Worship, Eucharist and fellowship four times at 7:00am, 8:30 am, 10:30am and 6:15pm. The evening service, which has Holy Communion only on the first Sunday of the months, other Services is Eucharist Services.


Various wings of the Church include Women fellowship, Men fellowship, Youth fellowship, Mission and Evangelism and a vibrant Sunday school. The Church got a good Choir, which practices every Friday evening. The Church has one of the oldest well-maintained Pipe Organ in the city.


The Cathedral welcomes friends and visitors and looks forward for having the fellowship.
